In my redesign for the Chicago Bulls, I aimed to create alternative jerseys and a court layout that truly represented the essence of Chicago. The uniforms pay homage to the city's old school style with pinstripes, while incorporating the iconic Chicago flag colors of light blue, red, and white. To add a unique twist, I integrated elements from the white soxs and the lettering reminiscent of Southside jerseys, but also paid homage to the West Side, where the Bulls' home base is located.
For the court design, I wanted to capture the Chicago spirit. I incorporated the city's iconic train systems, featuring the red line, blue line, green line, and others that are synonymous with Chicago. Additionally, I added the reference "290" to symbolize the expressway located to the west of Chicago, right by the United Center. The design brings together the rich tapestry of Chicago's culture and history, creating a true representation of the city's unique character and spirit.
