Ask: Rebrand the nonprofit’s logo and overall brand identity.
Creative direction: The goal was to create a modern brand identity and set of guidelines that bring the organization into the 21st century, while still staying true to the community it represents. I included key visual elements like houses, trees, and roses — symbolizing unity, growth, and the Rosemoor name. These elements come together in a cohesive way, with a warm, vibrant color palette made up of reds and greens to reflect both nature and community energy. The use of light also plays a role, symbolizing communal growth and brightness.
Why it matters: Communities deserve strong, thoughtful branding — something that reflects their identity with care and creativity.
Highlight: The rebrand was a success. Organization members and the community responded with excitement and positive feedback. From digital assets to printed materials, everything feels cohesive and true to who Rosemoor is today.

Ask: Create a billboard design to promote the annual garden walk — but also beautify the area.
Creative Direction: Instead of focusing solely on advertising the event, I centered the design around beautifying the neighborhood and representing the community authentically.
Featured a vibrant garden scene with an elder and a younger woman planting a rose — symbolizing legacy, growth, and the heart of Rosemoor.
Used various flowers to represent diversity, life, and nature's beauty.
The imagery honors generational care and the act of giving back to your community.
Why It Matters: In many minority neighborhoods, public visual space is often dominated by low-quality or predatory advertising (e.g., law firm ads, bail bond services).
This design intentionally breaks that pattern — offering something beautiful, uplifting, and representative of the people who live here.

Highlights: This is Rosemoor — and it’s my very first billboard within a community that represents people who look like me.
The community loved it. People enjoyed seeing it, and it’s gotten great feedback from everyone.
So it’s a success.
